The study organic agriculture sector analysis has been jointly developed to analyze the current status of existing stakeholders in the organic market in Egypt. National and international trends show an increased interest in organic agriculture over the past few decades. Therefore, organic associations and institutions recently gained more and more attention. The presented analysis in this report aspires to describe the operational and institutional statues of the organic agriculture sector in Egypt including its challenges caused by external and internal factors. Data is mainly collected from non-governmental organizations and enterprises involved in production, processing, distribution or certification. Other accessible sources were international organizations and their statistics concerning organic agriculture. In addition, suggestions and Organic Egypt’s involvement is described.
