Organic Egypt takes proactive steps to foster networking and collaboration within the organic and sustainable agriculture sector in Egypt. Through events, conferences, fairs and other networking events, the project provides a platform for stakeholders involved in the organic sector to engage in meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, innovation, and the exchange of best practices. Through facilitating direct interactions and connections among diverse stakeholders, a vibrant and interconnected organic community is formed.
Organic Egypt engages in a range of services aimed at supporting the development and success of organic farming in Egypt, these activities include:
• Assisting farmers and entrepreneurs in developing comprehensive organic farm business plans.
• Support organic farmers and organizations in securing funds and support for their projects through effective proposal writing.
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for organic farming.
• Offering guidance and support to farmers seeking organic certification for their agricultural operations.
• Conducting carbon footprint assessments for agricultural operations.
Organic Egypt is dedicated to fostering knowledge creation and dissemination within the organic agriculture sector through manuals, guides, books and reports on topics related to organic farming in Egypt. The knowledge materials are tailored to meet the needs of the sector stakeholders. Through these publications, Organic Egypt plays a pivotal role in advancing the organic agriculture sector’s knowledge base and empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions that promote sustainability, profitability, and resilience in organic farming practices.
Organic Egypt is committed to building the capacity of farmers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the organic agriculture sector through a comprehensive range of learning programs. These programs include theoretical training, practical training, excursions, and field visits, aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience. By providing a mix of classroom instruction, hands-on experience, and exposure to real-world examples, these programs contribute to building a vibrant and resilient organic farming community in Egypt, fostering sustainability, innovation, and prosperity in the agricultural sector.
Policy dialogue is a crucial component of Organic Egypt’s efforts to promote organic and sustainable agriculture. Through strategic engagement with policymakers, effective communication outreach, and the development of awareness materials, the project aims to influence policy decisions, foster supportive regulatory frameworks, and advance the organic farming agenda.
