NETWORKING ACTIVITIES OF ORGANIC EGYPT FOUNDATION
Organic Egypt at Green Connect Retreat
The Organic Egypt team participated in the Green Connect one-day retreat, organized by JRNY in collaboration with AUC Venture Lab, and supported by the Danish–Arab Partnership Programme, the Embassy of Denmark, and Plan International. The retreat brought together diverse stakeholders for a full day of workshops, masterclasses, focus groups, and collective discussions addressing key topics in sustainable agriculture and agribusiness. Conversations focused on real challenges and practical pathways, including sustainable practices, financing mechanisms, policy alignment, and long-term partnerships. Rather than surface-level solutions, the retreat created a meaningful space for reflection, connection, and trust building laying the groundwork for a growing and resilient ecosystem.
Organic Egypt’s participation provided a valuable opportunity to connect with key agricultural platforms and stakeholders, including innovative agri-fintech platforms such as AgriCash, experienced agricultural consultants, and investment-focused entities like Averroes Ventures, opening pathways for future collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable sector development.

EDUCATIONAL AND AWARENESS RAISING CAMPAIGNS
Professional Seminar for Photovoltaics and E-Mobility In Egypt
Organic Egypt Foundation co-organised a series of e-mobility seminars under the theme “Renewable Energy for a Brighter Future”, bringing together Egyptian and German expertise to explore innovative solutions for sustainable and environmentally friendly renewable energy. The seminars were funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by the Educational Institute of the Bavarian Economy (bbw gGmbH). Four Bavarian companies traveled to Egypt to present their latest technologies and innovations in renewable energy, sharing practical insights and success stories from Germany. The program was designed to encourage knowledge transfer, inspire sustainable practices, and highlight the potential of renewable energy solutions in Egypt, especially among students. The seminars took place at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development, the German University in Cairo, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in Alexandria, attracting around 300 participants. Attendees included students, professionals, and experts, who engaged with the Bavarian companies through interactive sessions, discussions, and demonstrations. By providing a platform for dialogue and collaboration, the seminars strengthened professional networks, fostered the exchange of ideas, and highlighted opportunities for future partnerships between Egypt and Germany in the renewable energy and e-mobility sectors.
