TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS FOR OUR STAKEHOLDERS
Training on Organic Pest Management
Organic Egypt Foundation conducted a two-day online training for our stakeholders on organic pest management. On the first day, the lecturer presented the importance of using natural predators and biopesticides to control pests; additionally, participants learned about the benefits of crop rotation and companion planting in preventing pest infestations. The second day focused on practical demonstrations of applying these methods in the field, giving participants hands-on experience in implementing organic pest management programs and management strategies. Overall, the training provided valuable knowledge and skills that will help the participants to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to the practical application and implementation of what they have learnt in their work or studies.
NETWORKING ACTIVITIES OF ORGANIC EGYPT PROJECT AND PARTNER
Fayoum International Film Festival
Organic Egypt Foundation proudly participated and organized a panel at the Fayoum International Film Festival for environmental films and contemporary arts, raising awareness about environmental conservation and organic agriculture. This event provided our foundation with a valuable platform to emphasize the importance of organic agriculture, highlighting its impact on environmental sustainability and human health. We Shared our experience and benefits of chemical-free farming practices, and promoted organic methods that foster a healthier planet and community. Besides, we emphasized the role of the Cinema industry in raising consumer awareness and how it can be a very strong tool to develop policies that can promote organic farming in Egypt.
