Job Description

The Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA) is a non-governmental organization which is registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Affairs. It was established in 1990 with the aim to promote organic and biodynamic agriculture in Egypt. The vision of EBDA is to make biodynamic, sustainable and organic agriculture the mainstream agriculture methods in Egypt to foster healthy environment and healthy people.
EBDA supports farms to convert their land to organic or biodynamic agriculture, offer training courses in biodynamic/organic agriculture, provide all required services and advice for the farms to be inspected by international auditors. EBDA also coordinates applied research projects, cooperate with similar international authorities.
In the course of achieving its vision, EBDA is searching for an project coordinator to manage the various projects the EBDA is involved in.

Job Requirements

    • English language is a must.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving
    • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

    • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Plan and implement projects
    • Define tasks and required resources
    • Manage budget
    • Allocate project resources
    • Create schedule and project timeline
    • Track deliverables
    • Monitor and report on project progress
    • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
    • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
    • Evaluate and assess result of project
